While his notoriety as of late showcased the obvious, it’s great to see someone flip his image in a completely opposite way. Kudos to whoever came up with this one!

Thinking about the way I work in my field and the products that I utilize on a daily basis, I can definitely say that statement rings true. His creative genius leaves a legacy that I can only imagine to attain one minor piece of one day. Absolutely a huge loss for people in my and many other generations.

The second in a series of documentaries being commissioned for The Popular Workshop, the short film delves into the life of photographer Bob Chisholm. Chisholm has been prolifically documenting his travels, family and surroundings for roughly the last 50 years. The majority of the work in his most recent show was discovered in a crawl space in a home in Northern California, left untouched for more than a decade. Architect, poet, avid traveler and documentarian, his work both subtly subverts and simultaneously embraces the sociological constructs of the eras that it spans. The duplicity, off-putting humor, and beauty in the mundane that runs throughout Chisholm’s work brings to mind the work of photographers such as William Eggelston, Robert Frank and Joseph Szabo. Originally unintended for a gallery audience, Chisholm’s photographs present a candidly honest depiction of an uncompromising life.

It’s official, Nike Air Mag’s. 1500 pairs. 150 a day for 10 days to be auctioned off on eBay with proceeds benefiting the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

I absolutely love the attention to detail in the official commercial. Everything from Lone Pine Mall (bonus points for you if you noticed it was Lone Pine and not Twin Pine), Huey Lewis and The News on the sound end, Marty’s ‘This is heavy’, George’s ‘Density’, Biff’s ‘Make like a tree’ references and who could forget CHRISTOPHER LLOYD AND DONALD FULLILOVE reprising their roles as Doc Brown and Goldie Wilson? Come on…

With all the speculation of an actual release of Marty McFly’s self-lacing MAG’s from the ‘Back To The Future’ franchise releasing next year, it’ll be interesting to see where this event with Tinker Hatfield takes us.
